Lesley Hangliter Bruns

I worked for Verizon Wireless from 1995 until 2001 when my daughter was born. During my 7 years I quickly transitioned from being a top sales performer to managing one of the busiest stores in the Pittsburgh area. I quit in 2001 to stay home with my daughter but really missed the thrill of the sale and the competition. I then found a niche for selling used children's books on e-bay. I did this for 10 years and saw steady growth year over year. Then in 2010 I also decided to start a children's seasonal consignment business with a friend. In 8 years we have watched our company grow from 5,000 items sold for our first sale to as high as 70,000 items in a sale. We have achieved name recognition with thousands of parents and grandparents throughout the Pittsburgh area. In July 2015 we were recognized as the Best of the Burgh by Pittsburgh Magazine and in 2016 were voted Best Consignment Sale in the Pittsburgh Area. In 2014 I got my real estate license and began working with my husband, Ned, at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in Cranberry. In 2016 we moved to RE/MAX Select Realty. I am able to still run the consignment sale twice a year and can enjoy helping clients to purchase and sell their homes year round as well. My goal has always been to work hard while being able to stay home with my children. I love the thrill of making a good sale and making others happy with the product they receive from me whether it is a used set of books through e-bay or a parent finding all the items they need for their children under one roof at a fraction of the cost or buying the home of their dreams.
