Chartered Pway Engineer with 30 Years experience in railway projects, including technical supervision during track renewals, inspection, maintenance, feasibility and design. Currently working as Pway Design CRE and CEM on various rail projects. Proficient in use of AutoCAD and MX Rail and Bentley Railtrack/Microstation. Design experience in both heavy and light rail systems, including standard and narrow gauge track. Significant experience of the design of plain line and S&C, drainage and general civils infrastructure. Nominated Checker and CRE for plain line and complex S&C schemes. Specialist knowledge/design experience of depots, sidings/intermodal facilities and LRT systems. Experience of track maintenance, asset condition surveys and monitoring of works on site. Full understanding and experience of stressing both plain line and complex S&C layouts. The above range of technical skills allows me to quickly and easily adapt to a wide range of project work. I also act as a Mentor, Sponsor, Technical Reviewer and Interviewer for Professional Registration applicants with the PWI.
