I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer from The Gambia, West Africa where I worked for one year and five months. During that time, I worked alongside Gambian counterparts as a Community Health Facilitator with a mission to build capacity and promote sustainability within the community. Before my time as a volunteer, I attended Siena College where I studied Psychology while working as a Resident Assistant and Office Assistant. I most recently worked under a FEMA Grant as a Team Leader at Hispanic Counseling Center, for a group of six COVID-19 Crisis Counselors working to serve the Hispanic community in Nassau County, Long Island, NY. I am still currently at the Hispanic Counseling Center, now focusing on Development as an assistant.
