Leslie Hirsch

As a practical nurse instructor at Bow Valley College, I developed new practice approaches based on the integration of research, theory, and practical knowledge and also demonstrated superior abilities in developing dynamic curriculum, syllabi, and lessons in healthcare education to expand student knowledge bases and achieve thorough comprehension. I also have taught 4th-year students who have gone on to become successful in their nursing careers. I believe that learning is a continuous process and that is why I’ll be commencing my Master’s Degree in Nursing with a focus on education in January. Also, I excel at delivering compelling learning presentations and propelling student interest and participation. My background spans excellent experience in developing and implementing educational healthcare programs to facilitate nursing instruction and medical knowledge. I am also adept at developing evaluation materials to determine the competency of students, conducting/participating in research studies, planning courses based on current best practices, and also collaborating with other instructors to evaluate content and teaching strategies.
