Currently working for a semi-finished plastics distributor in the Manchester area. I have been involved in managing inventory for over 20 years. From purchasing stock from approved suppliers both in the UK and overseas. Fully conversant with face-to-face negotiations with suppliers of price and terms of purchase. Annual stock takes and their reconciliation as well as perpetual counting/reconciliation of stock. Also used to dealing with consignment stock from both suppliers and to customers. Used to be being the interface between warehouse and sales office. Experienced in warehouse stock locating. I am first point of contact for other branches requiring stock and always maintain stock to allow for their needs. Able communicator having to react quickly to stock requests and enquiries for products not usually stocked. 3+ years experience of using Microsoft Dynamics framework for purchasing and sales. Classed as an all-rounder I have proven adaptable to all aspects of warehousing-distribution and in particular sales. Maintenance of sales for a number of customer accounts, involving material being delivered direct from supplier. Confident with face-to-face sales negotiations.
