Plan operational resource for daily and weekly requirements (working with Resource Planning if appropriate) Support the development and flexibility of Partners through identifying skill gaps and arranging further training Deliver all operational KPIs in line with Partner, Customer, Profit and ensure compliance in line with all business wide metrics Maximise the utilisation of resource to create operational efficiencies Monitor and analyse department KPIs to look for trends and opportunities to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the team Monitor and benchmark operational processes ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) exist and are adhered to Support the Department Manager in the development of operational trading strategy and contingency plans for handling seasonal volumes Participate fully in the branch and Partnership’s unique co- ownership culture, embracing the Commitments and demonstrating them in own behaviours Support and participate in department and branch democratic activity Look for opportunities to contribute towards divisional initiatives and working parties to develop strong working relationships through networking Prioritise workload in line with service level agreements to enable lead times to be met for both internal and external customers Communicate and share all relevant information in a timely manner Empower Partners to carry responsibility and trust their own Respond positively to change and encourage and support your team to do the same Recognise, celebrate and reward success within the team. Recognise both talent and poor performance, tackling poor performance in an honest and fair manner applying current disciplinary procedures if appropriate Develop a culture where teamwork is encouraged with openness and trust, valuing contributions of all team members Carry out Partner performance reviews within the required timeframe including development meetings Engage Partners in Partner Survey throughout the year and provide input into the department action plan designed for continuous improvement
