I started my Healthcare Administrative path in the front office of Private Practice learning the ins and outs of Customer Relations and Health Insurance. I moved on to Beth Israel Medical Center, working in Accounting then I moved on to Nursing Education obtaining hands on experience assisting Nurse Educators. Here I learned the hard work and dedication given by Nurses. I then moved up to Cardiac Surgery as an Executive Assistant, coordinating all aspects of scheduling procedures as I developed a compassionate rapport with each patient and family member along the way. I moved on to NS-LIJ Health System after September 11, 2001, joining Schneider's Children's Hospital in Pediatric Nephrology. Here I supported the chief of that Dept. In managing the clinic and overseeing our off-sight Dialysis Center. I moved up to LIJ Hosptial, Dept of Nursing Education and again had the pleasure of working with Nurse Educators in managing their schedules, coordinating Life Support classes, Blood Drives and overall support of the Director. The opportunity arose to move up to the corporate offices of NSLIJ Health System in supporting the Department of Strategic Planning becoming the Executive Assistant to the Asst. VP. Here I learned the importance of analysis and follow through. When I relocated to Connecticut I supported Sr. Management at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals learning the phases of drug research. When this contract position ended I joined US Foods embracing the Human Resource side of Administration. I currently work for Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology. I believe I have acquired the skills and polished professional experience in Corporate Administration to communicate effectively with all levels of Management to determine the need and methodology to operate in optimal efficiency and effectiveness. To join a department and have it run smoothly for all is truly fulfilling. Among the skills I have acquired, I also have working knowledge of HIPPA, JCAHO, OSHA and HRIS. Thank you.
