I am an enthusiastic and accomplished senior manager and member of top management teams in the financial services sector, who is committed to achieving outstanding results in business performance, customer service, change management, and the development and leadership of individuals and teams. Complementing my drive for results, I am a natural people-person, mentor and qualified Executive Coach who delights in empowering others and playing to their strengths to build strong effective teams. My career incorporates a variety of roles and responsibilities with different size businesses including HSBC, Nationwide BS and Capita, the mutual market and private companies. All of which, have given me a deep understanding of business, a sharp commercial awareness and a range of knowledge and expertise including commercial and mortgage lending, asset finance, life insurance and pensions, underwriting, debt management, complaint handling and remediation, regulation and compliance. I also have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, which combined with my accountancy background and skills, proved invaluable when I was part of a leadership team that built a start up for Derbyshire Building Society, from scratch to 150 employees, over a four-year period.
