As a Board member of the ETDP SETA and APPETD (Association of Private Providers of Education Training and Development), I continue developing a better understanding of the education landscape and legislation in South Africa and internationally. I'm in my 8th year of owning my own education consulting company where I provide advice and guidance to Education Executives. My experience in the education sector is vast and includes all operational areas of specialisation. Moodle is an absolute passion of mine. I work with companies to develop their online training environment and all the integrated business systems that seamlessly flow into one another. I have guided many institutions through the challenging COVID period, developing their traditional classroom training to an online environment and meeting accreditation requirements. It has been so rewarding to see how clients have exceeded their own expectations in this space and more so, to see how learners have achieved great success. It makes it all so rewarding. Over the past 30+ years, I worked with both public and private institutions and have been called a "rain-maker" by my Directors. Sales and marketing is what keeps businesses in business and I learned these valuable lessons early in my career. Sales, marketing, PR and SEO is where I spend much of my time and all the while making sure that I become a key stakeholder for my clients so that we build long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with unquestionable integrity.
