Linda Nguyen

As a health promoter and community member, my goal is to create opportunities, increase knowledge about how to improve health and wellbeing, and foster an environment of inclusivity. I wish to do this by acting with empathy, integrity, and open communication to enable individuals and communities to attain greater health for themselves. My background as a child of Vietnamese refugees and growing up in inner city Columbus among a large population of minorities has made me passionate about serving and caring for the underprivileged. I hope to use my knowledge and career in Public Health to make a difference in this world and to empower all people to live their best lives. My areas of interest include sexual and reproductive health, maternal and child health, health equity, and international health. My passions are not limited to health and also include women's rights and social equality for minorities.
