Since obtaining a license in Mental Health Counseling I have gained the ability to be an empathetic and effective therapist. I am able to implement individual, family, and group counseling with confidence and have enhanced my knowledge of therapeutic tools to encourage my clients towards progress and positive changes. I take pride in my retention rate of clients and have maintained a 25+ caseload often leading to successful completions. I am well experienced in developing treatment plans, detailed progress notes, bio-psycho-socials, and discharge planning. My training in chemical dependence has also enhanced my ability to work with those who have been diagnosed with co occurring disorders and struggle to maintain abstinence. I am skilled in maintaining collaborative relationships with referents such as judicial sources, other therapists, and EAP agencies.
