About

I am passionate about educating the ones around me on events and problems in the world that are not well known or highlighted in our everyday lives. I am very interested and intrigued when I learn something new and then I take that knowledge and I can educate other people on the issue. I believe that today the real problem is that not everyone is aware of topics, yet they have an opinion about them and/or do actions that effect the topic. I like creating connections and opening up others minds to the world. I’ve put my passions into action through my management position at Aroma Joes in my hometown. On each of our three tip jars we put out the windows, I created signs educating the public on our environmental issues and how they can help. Because of my signs and my marketing skills I have been able to sell and promote a 77% increase in the purchasing and reusing of metal straws and reusable cups. As a result of this increase in reusable everyday consumption I have successfully reduced the use and pollution of single use plastics at my workplace. Through leadership in the kitchen with my friends, to picking up trash on the sides of the roads, I’ve come to know that I’m good at taking control, seeing what needs to be done, and properly doing that action. May it be pouring the correct amount of flour into the mixing bowl, to properly disposing of the trash that we picked up, I have grown to notice amazing qualities I possess that even simply include caring for someone or something. I believe I can make a difference and a big impact by collaborating them into education and environment. My initial dream role would be to educate small towns on environmental issues that are impacting our world. This would then cause them, as a population, to be more conscious and aware of their uses of water or electricity and have more of an educated and backed up opinion on important topics. The dream is for people to be more mindful of their byproducts rather than just sending it/ them “away”. Over the years I have changed as a person, have that be in my personal life, with my friends, family, work, and education. I have learned so many valuable tricks and lessons, ultimately helping me become extremely confident and not so scared anymore of change. I would love to collaborate marketing and business aspects into an environmental impact. I have officially graduated from The University of New Hampshire with a Bachelors in Science, Environmental Conservation and Sustainability with a focus area of Social Science and a Business Administration Minor.
