Lisa Carubia-Levine

The entirety of my work experience has been primarily focused on providing optimal customer service. For over a decade, I was employed in the restaurant industry. It was the right place to be as I settled in to my new home, after moving here from New Jersey in 2008. This sector provides flexible schedules which was perfect for me while attending school. For a time, I was employed as a cook, in an Irish Pub, where I quickly moved up, becoming the kitchen manager. At twenty years old, I was in charge of a staff of 8, and responsible for running all kitchen operations. I moved on to work in a Restaurant close to home in Sherman Oaks. I chose a position as a server for the opportunity to make more money and work more closely with customers. The restaurant in Sherman Oaks is Kosher, and I am proud to say that it is very successful. I moved up quickly here as well, from server to shift manager, and as I always do, found as many ways to be useful as possible. This is a family-run business, and I was trusted to run operations while the owners were away. I hold the family close to my heart, and after nine years, I left seeking employment with advancement opportunities. I most recently have been employed in the Insurance industry, as a Bail Consultant. This experience was the stepping stone that I needed, to become comfortable in a professional work environment. This is a sales position, with telephone, and face-to-face transactions. I have done really well with the company, and have grown very confident in these areas. I have had the pleasure to spend the last decade, working with, and helping people. One of the most wonderful aspects of living in Los Angeles, is the ability to work with people from every background. In the food service industry, I worked intimately with patrons to ensure their satisfaction with my service and our product, and with Bail, much is the same. I have always strived to provide the best possible experience for my clients.
