Lisa M. Fowlkes

As an experienced leader with a successful track record of leading change and organizational transformation, I currently serve as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs at Comcast NBCUniversal where I work on broadband, cybersecurity, media and digital equity matters. Previously, I served as the Chief of the FCC's Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau where I successfully led an interdisciplinary team of approximately 100 employees that focused on implementing major policy initiatives enhancing public safety communications, emergency alerts, 911, information-sharing, supply chain security and communications infrastructure resiliency and security. Having built a career in both the private and public sectors I have created a depth of expertise in the Telecommunications Industry as both an Executive Leader and Attorney. My expertise spans from policy making to regulatory enforcement. My success is the direct result of my ability to foster positive relationships among experts of different cultural backgrounds to solve complex communications issues, while creating and managing relationships with organizational leaders, employees and stakeholders.
