Writing about myself makes me feel uncomfortable, so I will keep this short. Curiosity is what has driven me to find enjoyment in the variety of businesses I have had the privilege to experience working with. I have an insatiable curiosity about most things, but the inner workings of humans and how they function is what fascinate me most. The satisfaction I feel when being able to figure something out and implement solutions is what lights me up in a work environment, almost as much as the successful completion of multi-faceted projects, especially those with a clear brief and definition of “done”. I have developed the skill of being able to learn new processes and systems quickly, in order to get things done, which I attribute to my positive, optimistic, can-do attitude. As a compassionate empathizer, I enjoy finding appropriate ways of communication with a variety of different people and roles, whether it is in conceptualizing a user experience during strategy sessions, or assisting with product queries and troubleshooting with professionals. I have demonstrated loyalty and conscientiousness by adapting well to remote work within a team environment, especially if the collaboration creates the space to crack the odd joke and have a laugh while building cool stuff.
