Liz Hoffman

Currently overseeing the development of a portfolio of 10 health services research journals and am involved in acquiring new journals. I have also handled journals across a broad range of subjects, initially journals within the BMC series, but subsequently expanded to include journals with external Editors-in-Chief. Core duties include developing and maintaining good relationships with external Editorial Boards and Societies, recruiting external Editors, acquiring new journal and transfer journals, optimising commercial opportunities, increasing the submission of good quality manuscripts, setting up new journals, developing and maintaining existing journals, as well as line management. In addition, I am involved in advocacy via social media, author workshops and webinars.
