Chartered accountant with a wealth of experience in the not for profit sector. After qualifying I moved on to become Head of Financial Accounting at sector leader Macmillan for 5 years. I then moved role within Macmillan to become Head of Finance Improvement Projects, project managing a number of complex system implementations that strengthened and improved the infrastructure of Macmillan, a successful and rapidly growing organisation. I am PRINCE2 qualified and have further developed my skills by being a trustee of the Macmillan pension scheme, a multi award winning defined benefit scheme where I have strengthened my knowledge of investment management and governance. With over 18 years’ experience in the sector I have a proven track record of successful delivery complex projects within the context of a large household name national charity. I am personable, honest and trustworthy and believe in building strong cross functional networks to ensure that projects are delivered which benefit the entire organisation.
