Liza Stead

Liza's career spans the areas of Executive Leadership Coaching (Individuals, Groups and Teams); pioneering and curating of a professional Internal Coaching and Mindfulness capability and extending a coaching, mentoring and mindfulness culture within a global organisation; Consulting and Programme Management; Mindfulness Teaching and Facilitation within the workplace, running Mindfulness Retreats; and curating bespoke Leadership Development Interventions with a coaching and experiential approach. She develops strong partnerships with both internal and external coaching providers who are essentially an extension of the team. In the earlier part of her career she was instrumental in the enhancement and leadership of a Project Management Office (PMO) in an IT firm, where she also served on an Executive Committee, Operations Board and Strategic Project Forum. Her unique focus as a coach is on nudging individuals and teams to unleash their excellence, shape courageous changes, work to their strengths and purpose, and master their lives as a whole. Her style is warm and supportively challenging. As a thinking and delivery partner to diverse clients, Liza seeks to listen deeply to where the challenges and opportunities lie. Also to what is needed to shape and shift individuals, groups, teams and organisations so as to maximise performance, thriving, awareness and holistic wellbeing. Liza is Founder and Director of Living Essence Mindfulness (2004) and The Urban Oasis (2019). She is a Mindfulness Coach and Teacher, teaching Mindfulness-based Interventions and MBSR (Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction) programmes. Her joy and passion is holding space in guiding Urban Retreats. She is deeply called to assist people in finding ways to bring mindfulness into their everyday lives in practical and attainable ways.
