Deputy Head of National Community Participation with a wide range of fundraising and marketing experience gained at the Oxfam, before joining Save the Children in January 2008. Committed to the sector and passionate about making a quantifiable difference to those in need. Focus career on events fundraising, volunteer development and communications since starting in the sector over 11 years ago. Thrives on the passion she sees in fundraisers and volunteers who give their energy to supporting the cause. Current role as Save the Children's Deputy Head of National Community Participation has seen significant growth, with more than doubling the income from 3rd party events in the past two years, through creating efficiency at scale, implementing effective supporter journeys and enhancing the supporter experience. In seven years at Oxfam, focus was on project managing running events, establishing and growing Trailwalker, rationalising the overseas challenge portfolio and delivering increased levels of supporter engagement through diversifying the communications approach.
