Lloyd Scott

During my career as a teacher, I spent 6 years in the classroom as a elementary teacher, junior teacher, and co-department chair. During the past 3 years I have spent my career as a school administrator, substitute principal, after-school program developer, and education instructional intern. I have also lead other atheltic programs containing 50-100 students. These school-related activities include Head Wrestling Coach, Track Coach, Football Coach, and After-School Program Developer. The first two years I completed educational internship at a building of 1100+ students. This building included 11+ languages, at the time 70% low-income, and tied the state average with 14% of the student population with IEP's. Lastly, my internship as an instructional leader ended at Rock Island-Milan #41 School District, a large elementary school building of 500+ students K-6. During the time, Rock Island maintained 61% low-income and 23% of the student population English Language Learners.
