I studied public relations at NYU, and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and History. I've devoted much of my career to public policy, data analysis and research, communications, and community outreach. My work has been covered in the Wall Street Journal and various other citywide publications. Early in my career, I had the amazing experience of working for Walt Disney Studios. I went on to conduct market research and focus groups for Fortune 500 clients, analyzing data to tell a story. After being selected for a prestigious NYS Assembly internship program in Albany, I worked in the State Assembly for 5 years, and know the ins and outs of the legislative process. I also successfully managed the first Business Improvement District under the prior administration in New York City, while working for a local nonprofit. Now as an Analyst for Empire State Development's Division of Minority and Women's Business Development, I identify best practices for compliance of Article 15-A and regulations related to MWBE contracts. This ensures fair practices and opportunities for minority and women-owned businesses in New York. I’m passionate about public policy and economic development initiatives, particularly those that promote equity for small businesses within New York State government.
