Louie Vettel

As a Mechanical Project Engineer at BiS I get to focus on Controls/Building Automation Systems for a wide variety of clients. I lead projects, both big and small, for Fortune 100 companies, small local businesses, and even regional government sites. My team is committed to using scrum methodologies to cut costs for our clients, reduce downtime, and reduce waste. The best part of my job is that every project presents its own unique set of challenges. There is nothing better than getting to start each project with a blank slate. Motivating my team is also incredibly rewarding. Each of my technicians has a different skill set, learning how to best use each of them has been valuable for both myself and them. Its great to watch my team continue to grow and learn in lockstep with me. When I am not at work you can find me hanging out with my family or in my local parks prepping for my next trail ultramarathon. I am also on a mission to learn and implement python in my career, so I might be reading a book on that!
