Campaign Coordinator with Focus Ireland. • Plan and co-ordinate the implementation of cross-departmental campaigns which inform public opinion and influence public policy. • Support Focus Ireland customers to engage in the campaigning, media, research and fundraising work of the organisation • Working with the Advocacy and Fundraising teams to identify, design and plan a series of public campaigns • Coordinating the effective delivery of public campaigns, in collaboration with the social media, web, public fundraising, communications and other relevant teams within the organisation • Contributing to Focus Ireland’s social media presence in line with Focus Ireland’s social media strategy. Contribute to the updating and ongoing development of the website. Be part of a team that produces short, sharp video content for social media and internal communications. • Build a community of engaged and informed active volunteer campaigners to support Focus Ireland’s public policy goals • Work with Fundraising to develop ‘supporter pathways’ to deepen the engagement of campaigners in the work of Focus Ireland, including encouraging donations at appropriate times. • Assist in generating national media coverage; Generate regional and local publicity (Including targeting specialist media) to highlight activities of Focus Ireland; • Working to help support the understanding (and use) of the Focus Ireland brand identity as part of the communications strategy of the organisation. • Encourage and support Focus Ireland customers and tenants to participate in the media, campaigning, fundraising and research work of the organisation • Develop relationships with relevant front-line teams and ensure they recognise the contribution which customer participation can play in achieving the organisation’s goals • As part of the organisation’s customer involvement programme, work closely with customers and media to ensure constructive interviews are conducted, ensuring customers have an empowering experience of sharing their story and ensuring media understand and respect the difficulties the customers have overcome. • To plan and deliver an innovative programme to recruit and support a team of customers with lived experience of homelessness to be spokespersons to challenge homelessness. • Developing monthly, quarterly and annual work reports. • Manage volunteers, interns, staff teams during launches and events/Conduct other duties as required.
