Luc is a recognized expert in digital imaging and screening technologies and applications. He is an aerospace engineer by trade who started his career in the Canadian military and later went into IT consulting and imagery-related product development. He holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the Royal Military College (RMC) of Canada in Kingston, ON, as well as a Master degree in Imaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY. He started LynX Inspection in 2016 to develop innovative industrial inspection solutions based on radiography and 3D machine vision. As the former VP of Product Management for Optosecurity (now part of Vanderlande), he helped develop a revolutionary centralised remote screening solution for aviation security that was first deployed at Brussels and Amsterdam Schiphol international airports in 2015 and is now becoming the trend for most airports around the world. He holds more than 25 patents in the field of industrial X-ray imagery applications.
