About

I have been immersed in different cultures and environments since I was very young through travelling at length and living abroad. I have been passionate about animals, plants and the mesmerising landscapes found around the globe. The Ocean grew on me, and as such for the last 5 years I have been part of teams in different projects, like FUNDEMAR (Dominican Republic), with dolphin and turtle monitoring and coral reef restoration, Manta Trust (Peru), researching manta ray fisheries and protection, and the Dwarf Minke Whale Project (Australia), gathering behavioural and ecological data on this species and promoting the project on tourist liveaboard boats. Currently finishing the Master at the University of Cambridge, my goal is to manage projects around the tropics aiming at protecting megafauna (especially whales, sharks and rays) and promoting sustainable fisheries via greater participation of local communities. Reach out via [email protected] for enquiries, happy to chat! - Interests - Yoga, reading, hiking, travelling and learn more about the ocean!
