Lucinda Morris

My professional experiences have spanned the fields of climate studies, groundwater, public and private water systems, histology, and wildlife conservation. Through the years I have found that my skills align most with communication and outreach, and I have grown to hold the practice of collaborative conservation in high regard. This has built one of my driving principles: we must make conservation more accessible to the constituencies we work with and explicitly connect science with action if we are to make broad progress on protecting our natural resources. I hope to apply my knowledge of science and skills in leadership, communication, and perceptive management in pursuit of this ideal. In addition to the above, I am an accomplished violinist and published author, with research papers about the Aral Sea and methods of conducting outreach to private well owners.
