Ludovica Lattanzi

I am a biomedical engineer and I have recently completed my doctoral studies in Materials Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. During my Ph.D., I collaborated with the Graduate Aerospace Laboratories (GALCIT) at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), where I worked as a research assistant for a cumulative period of two and a half years. During this time, I developed an expertise in nanotechnology (carbon nanotubes), micro-fabrication, and composite materials. The potential applications spanned several fields: automotive, defense, aerospace, biomedical, and sporting equipment. From one year of collaboration with an advanced technology and engineering company (Oceanit, Honolulu, HI), for the realization of an acoustic device, I acquired experience in project management and I developed the ability to set and achieve goals, handle multiple projects and deadlines. I am very ambitious, inquisitive, strongly oriented towards results, and I am highly motivated by new challenges and responsibilities.
