About
My task as Head of Learning - DAC's teaching and development manager - is to invite students, children and young people inside for thought-provoking teaching activities. To equip them to look at the city with new eyes and give them skills to deal with issues concerning architecture and urban development - and life in general. I work to make a difference in the lives of children and young people - through experiences, learning and play! I take pride in meeting the target group at eye level, being curious with them and creating space for reflection, dialogue, fun - and not least new insights. I believe that these realizations can fundamentally help create a whole person and make the world a better place. I am an experienced manager, a driven project manager and have several years of experience in landing, developing and running strategic partnerships and projects. I am extremely structured and commited in my task solving. I possess commercial understanding and always have an eye for the task at hand. My focus is on people, time management, stakeholder management and budget management. Finally, through many years of work with knowledge production and knowledge sharing, I have acquired strong skills in communication, teaching, presentation and facilitation. I strive to exercise leadership based on trust. I believe that good leadership is about balance. To keep the balance between often opposing demands and needs. Good management is about having an eye for the project and focus on the people in the project. I conduct practice-based management. I believe that results are something we create together. That's why I'm not afraid to be found standing on the floor and lifting the task together with my employees. Finally, write to me if you are curious about how architecture can enrich the lives of children and young people - and your work with them.
