Luke Conrad

Currently a Pricing Specialist at Werner Enterprises. I work in the intermodal group, where I specialize in cross-border Mexico shipments via rail, but use industry knowledge and experience in over the road pricing to provide informed pricing and intermodal solutions. Previously, as a rates analyst, I served as a liaison between the customer and other pricing specialists, working to compile and analyze data in order to create pricing and service solutions for companies looking to move freight of all kinds. As both an analyst and pricing specialist, I use financial and data analysis skills to evaluate customers and provide ideal solutions, distribute information and summaries to key stakeholders and management, and manage bids and pricing opportunities from initial lead through the award process. I graduated with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in May 2014. I received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Management, and also completed minors in International Business and Spanish. I have studied in Seoul, South Korea (1 month), and Lima, Peru (4 months). I have an interest in management, consulting, and also interests in cross-cultural management and/or consulting. I am looking for both domestic and international opportunities that may involve the use of Spanish, but also have interest in international businesses operated from within the United States. My talents lie in analysis and problem solving as well as employee interaction and management.
