When I joined the private equity-owned Octave Music Group, our goals included selling the business or taking it public. We completed the sale of the business in late 2021, and after completing several months of transition activity, I am now taking some extended time off to pursue other interests.Time will tell if this is early retirement or just a long sabbatical, but I’m going to read, travel, deepen my relationships with friends and family, and take up a few hobbies I’ve always wanted to try!
