Luzuko Koti

Luzuko Koti is Business Manager: Channel Africa, SABC's international radio station. He is a seasoned communications and media practitioner with over 23 years of collective experience, 17 of which were in senior management. This includes 7 years as a development news journalist and assignments editor for radio and television. He spent 7 years at senior management level in government in the Republic of South Africa as Director of Communications for Project Consolidate, a municipal support programme. He later became Chief Director (Executive Manager) of Communications at the Department of Provincial and Local Government/Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs. Koti worked as Executive Director of Communications and later as Managing Director at Oresego Holdings. He served for almost 5 years at the Nelson Mandela Foundation as Director of Communications and Marketing. Koti holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science. He also studied towards journalism at the Development Media Agency and completed several training programmes in leadership, editorial and management. He is a father of two.
