Retired in December 2013. My last title was Senior Manager, Business Operations & Finance for ThalesRaytheonSystems Company LLC (TRS LLC), a U.S. Subsidiary of the joint venture between Raytheon Company (USA) and Thales Group (France). Specializing in air defense systems, command and control systems and battlefield and weapon locating radars. I was directly responsible for all Business & Finance matters associated with the Battlefield Radar Product line, as well as Site Manager in charge of Estimating & Pricing Organization and was the Director of Command and Control Systems International, a TRS-LLC Branch Operations in Brussels, Belgium. Prior international assignments included being the Business / Finance Lead in charge of Product Lines for Hughes Aircraft Company and Raytheon Company in Europe, Asia and Middle East from 1989 to 2004. I served as the Program Business Manager on numerous international contracts for countries such as France, Portugal, UK, Iceland, Switzerland, Greece, Norway,Germany, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea, Saudi, Egypt and Belgium. Additionally, held Lead Business / Finance roles in numerous DoD programs, emphasis on Army and Navy contracts from 1979 to 1988. Experienced in large domestic and international proposals, including the $1.8B proposal for the Royal Saudi Air Force and the $3.2B NATO air command and control proposal. I’ve had the opportunity to work on engineering development and manufacturing production programs, contract negotiations, customer interface and as the lead Business/Finance representative on the generation of Joint Ventures and subsidiaries in several countries. I also held a Board of Directors role on a multi-national (6 nations) Joint Venture in Brussels, Belgium. I joined Hughes Aircraft Company in 1979 as a Manufacturing Financial Analyst. Continued on with Raytheon Company when they purchased Hughes in 1998 until my retirement in 2013.
