Lynn T. Simon

Lynn Simon, M.D., has leadership responsibilities for all aspects of clinical operations, including quality and safety, clinical service lines, nursing, and case management. She also oversees medical staff relations, physician practice management, clinical integration and telemedicine initiatives, medical informatics and corporate support areas such as pharmacy, medical imaging, laboratory and hospital-based physician services. Before joining CHS in 2010, Simon served as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and Senior Vice President &a; Chief Medical Officer of Jewish Hospital &a; St. Mary’s HealthCare after the organizations’ merger. She was a full-time practicing neurologist in Louisville from 1989 to 2005. Simon earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University in Louisville and her medical degree from the University of Louisville. She completed a medical internship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and a neurology residency at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, serving as Chief Resident in her final year.
