Lynne Margeaux Cornelissen

Lynne is a passionate and caring clinician with a particular interest in HIV and TB. Having worked in Internal Medicine since September 2010, Lynne has a passion for Infectious Diseases, particularly complex HIV and TB cases, including Drug Resistant TB, which has a high prevalence rate in the area where she was previously based. Lynne has moved into Infectious diseases clinical research with Stellenbosch University Family Clinical Research Unit (FAM-CRU). In 2017 Lynne joined the South African board of Mothers2mothers, a non-profit organization uniquely facilitating the empowerment of HIV-infected mothers as community mentors, toward the elimination of paediatric HIV and the promotion of health in HIV-affected households in Sub-Saharan Africa.
