Marco Ferraz

Native Portuguese, fluent English, basic Spanish, Software Engineer with 13+ years of extensive experience in a diverse range of roles (software project management, software consulting, functional analyst, development, implementation, QA assurance) in clients from diversified sectors. Experience acquired in a large variety of software, technologies and methodologies in critical and fast-paced sectors like health and banking. Passionate, dynamic and a problems solver person with a great team sense and a subset of relevant soft skills, capable of promote team members interactions and focus on common defined objectives. Personal Achievements: Author, in 2011, of an innovative investigation project (“Organs Transplantation – How to Improve the Process?”), with the partnership of the Portuguese hospital “Hospital de São João”, with the objective of optimizing the organs transplantation process. This work was internationally recognized and published as well as presented in a Medical Informatics International Conference (XXIII International Conference of the European Federation for Medical Informatics), Oslo, Norway.
