My passions are leadership and strategy. My purpose is to support leaders achieve their potential. I love what I do! My sweet spot on the strategy side is working with Boards, the CEO and their executive teams to drive revenue growth through expansion into new markets, new geographies, innovative offerings, new capabilities, and new programs. As an Executive Coach, I draw from the experience of working with more than 25 CEOs in helping them develop a path to achieve their personal and professional goals. On paper, I am an executive advisor, strategist, entrepreneur, diversity champion and leadership coach with over 30 years of experience in Fortune 100 and private equity-backed early growth & start-ups in Canada, the US, and globally. My industry experience is in the high-growth sectors of technology, cannabis, and retail health & wellness. In my heart and mind, I am still 35 years old with a lot to do! As Co-Founder & Partner of Wentworth Strategy Group Inc., a diversified management consultancy, I help small and medium enterprises thrive, leading the Strategy and Leadership practice. I am also President, Zanel Advisory Group Inc., supporting senior leaders in advancing within the C-Suite, through leadership advancement coaching and strategic advisory. I am a passionate advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion, supporting women's advancement in the c-suite and the boardroom. I am privileged to be co-instructor of the inaugural DeGroote School of Business, Executive Education Program on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace. And, most recently I was appointed the first woman facilitator of the World Trade Centre's Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) for women-owned business and high-tech cohorts across Canada. I love my work as an Entrepreneur In Residence with the Ella Accelerator, Ontario's first accelerator focused on supporting women-led product and service-based businesses. I currently serve in two advisory roles in women-owned start-ups; as an Advisor to HerRide, Canada's first women driving women ride-hailing membership-based company, and as an Advisor to a game-changing global conservation tech start-up WildTechDNA. I served on the McMaster Alumni Board and the board of Xerox Canada Inc. I am an alumnus of the Judy Project. In 2018 I was honoured to be selected as one of Diversity MBA Magazine's "Top 50 over 50", and in 2020 one of Diversity MBA Magazines, "Top 100 Women of Influence".
