Experienced and proactive engineer with broad background in Telecommunications, Project and Business management. 20+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture and People Management. Thorough knowledge of the Latin American Telecommunications industry based on his experience with service providers, enterprises, network equipment vendors and systems integrators. Acquired much experience in VoIP, VoLTE, VoWiFi and IMS networks over hardware based and virtualized platforms. Also participated in management trainings to enhance his leadership skills. Started his career at Impsat Argentina as a network engineer and after eight years, he was hired by Acme Packet to cover engineering tasks for the South Cone Market of Latin America. After five years, he was promoted to Sales Engineer Manager for Latin America. Acme Packet was acquired by Oracle in 2013 and he continued having the same responsibilities and leading a team of six engineers across the region. In 2017, he decided to move to Metaswitch, in search of new challenges in a company with a clear leadership and a rich portfolio of cloud native communications software for mobile, fixed and converged networks. Since then, he works as a Sales Engineer for South America region. Metaswitch was acquired by Microsoft in 2020 to form part of the Azure for Operators team. Since then, he maintained his responsibilities and began training in telco cloud solutions. For the enterprise market (Microsoft Teams solution) and for the service providers market (voice and packet core, public and private). As part of this transition, he also gained experience in cloud design and architecture, mainly in Azure.
