Mario Crispino

My career started in 1978 as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice with Valor in Bicester, Oxfordshire. During my time at Valour I obtained an HTEC in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Going on to Coventry Lanchester Polytechnic I obtained a B.Eng Degree in Computer and Control Systems Engineering in 1986. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of roles in a broad range of disciplines. These have included Engineering Design, PLC Automation and Training, Oracle Database Administration, Microsoft Windows Networking, Programming and Technical Sales. Since 2004 I have been working in Video Production specialising in Web, Marketing, Promotional, Training and Event Videography and since 2016, Drone Aerial Services. By 2018 I was able to combine my technical knowledge and experience of industrial control systems with my video production and training skills. Since then I have produced numerous training videos demonstrating how to programme: a) The Siemens S7-1200 PLC to control Factory I/O, a 3D Simulation Package that can be setup to mimic a production plant and process. B) The Raspberry Pi to control a Robotic Arm. As a Master Member of the Institute of Videography I have been put forward for fellowship as a result of reaching the highest standards of workmanship. In addition I hold a PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) as issued by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) which allows me to capture aerial footage with drones.
