CEO - Therapeutic Interventions, Inc President - Long Shore Investments In 2007 Marion offered free anger management counseling to a few of the Middle and High Schools here on the eastern shore as a pilot program for a school based counseling program. The program served 24 students at three schools and had a positive impact on the disciplinary referrals and student academics during the brief program. Over the next year Marion worked through the licensing process and received a statewide license to provide School and Community based counseling based off of the model that he had piloted. In 2008 Marion incorporated his business and partnered with who is now the founding five owners of Therapeutic Interventions. Since Therapeutic Interventions’ inception Marion has been able to take this business from a five-employee business to a program that employs over One Hundred (120) people. Marion’s has been the driving force behind Therapeutic Interventions business development that has taken their services off of the Shore as well. Therapeutic Interventions is also operating in the city of Alexandria, Fredericksburg, Southampton County, Prince George County, Portsmouth, and the city of Franklin. All areas combined Therapeutic Interventions is serving nearly 600 children across the state with Mental Health disabilities. In addition to the countless hours of Mental Health Counseling, Therapeutic Interventions has donated over $1,200,000.00 back to the school and community in the form of community programs, school functions and supplies, athletic equipment, and scholarship services.
