Prior to my position at Gerald Eve I was employed by RMC Aggregates (UK) Limited where I undertook Estate Management work for mineral companies within the RMC Group. This included the negotiation of options, leases, rent reviews, purchases and disposals. I was responsible for all rating matters throughout the UK. I personally undertook rating work in Southern and Central England. Before working for RMC I worked for the Valuation Office. I was based at the Mineral Valuer's offices in Maidenhead and Reading. I undertook rating work in South East England. My present duties include estate management advice to operating companies and landowners. This covers matters of valuation, the negotiation of acquisitions, disposals and rent reviews. I undertake rating work in southern and central England and Wales. I have undertaken numerous valuations on behalf of mineral companies and lending institutions. This has included international asset valuations for Tarmac, Aggregate Industries and Redland (now part of Lafarge), as well as UK valuations for Ennstone plc and smaller mineral and waste management companies thoughout the UK. I have presented numerous rating appeals at Valuation Tribunal. I have acted as an Expert Witness at Valuation Tribunal and at Lands Tribunal.
