Mark Hess

Hess Construction was established in 1958 and has been involved in many projects throughout Idaho. The founder of the company, Jerry Hess, was 20 years old and he and his wife already had 5 children to support. The 6th child they had was me, born in 1962. I purchased the business from him in 2005, I am proud to carry on the business into a 3rd generation. To say the least, Jerry Hess is a self made millionaire who used self-discipline, ambition, an uncommon amount of common sense and a faithful supporting wife. Life is not fair, it's not easy, it's brutal when you make mistakes. But success can come to anyone with a few key ingredients. I've listed a few my father used.
