Experienced Financial Services Contractor specialising in the pensions industry. Have experience at various levels within the following pension frameworks: Defined Benefit: Public & Private Sector, Final Salary & CARE. My industry experience comprises the following roles: Pension Administration (Retirements, Transfers, Leavers, Deaths etc) Quality Assurance Pension Redress Pension Payroll Reconciliation Qualifications include: 2:1 in English & Modern History at University of Liverpool 3 x A Levels in English Language, History, Psychology The versatile nature of contracting has allowed me to secure valuable experience under the umbrella of several highly respected & recognised employers in both the UK & NZ. This flexible approach has helped contribute to a number of key passions of mine outside of the workplace, specifically landscape photography. Over the course of the last few years I have taken a number of opportunities to explore this particular part of my life, illustrated by a number of sabbaticals between contracts. From a professional standpoint, I have invariably honoured each contractual arrangement by which I have entered into, navigating respective projects through to their agreed completion date. Most recently, my six-month arrangement at Mercer ceased in December 2019. At which point my wife and I took the opportunity to embark on an extended honeymoon backpacking trip. Unfortunately due to the spread of Covid-19 the trip was curtailed and we have since returned home. I have since accepted a role with BTPS working across their dedicated Bereavements Team.
