Worked in general administration 1991 - 1996 for Department of Defence. Moved to executive management in 1996 to 2007 as Officer in Charge of the Swan Island Defence Base in Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia During the period 1999 - 2007 obtained a; - Graduate Certificate of Applied Management - Diploma of Business - Diploma of Management - Diploma with the Australian Institute of Company Directors Accepted a role and partnership with Tuckers Funeral & Bereavement Service from 2007 - 2014 before beginning a role independently as a Family Business Consultant, Management Coach and Mentor. Returned to Tuckers full time October 2015 to oversee all aspects of the business and to align people, strategy and direction in the delivery and outcome of professional services. In Jan 2017 accepted the position of General Manager, Victoria for InvoCare Australia Ltd. This role is overseeing the business operations of multiple brands in Victoria e.g. Le Pine Funerals, WD Rose Funerals, White Lady Funerals, Simplicity Funerals, Tuckers Funeral & Bereavement Service Geelong, Crawfords Funerals at Melton and others. From June 2018 I commence a role as a Senior Advisor focussed on the development of industry standards within the Company nationally as well as acquisition opportunities in Victoria and product development.
