Mark Rogers

Mark has a strong business background across a broad range of industries in New Zealand and offshore. Mark is currently active in the NZ domestic Transport industry having successfully implemented leading-edge transport optimisation solutions for the Fonterra subsidiary - Dairy Transport Logistics. Holding a commerce degree majoring in Operations Research Mark has fifteen years of consulting experience in Transport, the Airport industry, tourism, finance, utilities and government. He has led the implementation of complex, time sensitive, high value and high business risk solutions in New Zealand, the UK, USA and Australia from his New Zealand base. Underpinning Mark’s business solution expertise is a strong information technology and project management background and a passion for solving business problems with creative and practical solutions. Mark held senior management roles for Electricorp, ECNZ and Synergy International (now Fronde Limited) before embarking on a consulting career. Engaged by organisations including Halifax Bank, Ministry of Justice, NZ Post, Transpower, Genesis Energy, Wellington Airport and Fonterra Mark has successfully combined technology and people to create effective business solutions. Mark owned and operated a small fleet of passenger vehicles in the Tourism industry as Managing Director of Wellington based Flat Earth Limited. From start-up in 2003 to it’s sale in 2011 Flat Earth Limited remains a successful entity in New Zealand’s international tourism market.
