Mark Simpson

Mark is a Principal and Board Director at BDP. He is Chair of the Design profession, a global team of interior and graphic designers, workplace strategists and wayfinding experts. He is also head of the Workplace sector at BDP and UK Lead for the Media Environments sector.BDP is an international consultancy of over 1400 people working across ten UK studios and nine international studios which includes leading Canadian practice BDP Quadrangle in Toronto and sports architecture specialists BDP Pattern.The Design profession is circa 100 strong across seven of BDP's global studios and works across multiple sectors including retail and F&B, workplace, media, life sciences, healthcare, education, residential and sports - often in collaboration with BDP's other professions as well as its own commissions for tier one clients such as PwC, easyJet, Berkeley Homes, Poltrona Frau, Fritz Hansen, Deloitte, Eversheds Sutherland, Royal London Insurance, The Royal Albert Hall, Ingka Group / IKEA, Cambridge University and many other public and private sector clients. The studio is regularly the recipient of industry awards.Mark writes regularly for the design press and has judged many design awards for FX and WIN, as well as chairing the judging panel for the Mixology awards since their inception in 2005.
