Mark Underseth

In 2000, I founded S2 Technologies, with the goal of providing software tools and services focused on development quality, analytics, and continuous integration. My leadership and experience are dedicated to this technology company. My experience includes spearheading the design of embedded communication devices, including mobile satellite, automotive, and digital cellular products. As VP of Engineering at Mitsubishi’s Mobile Communications Technology Center in San Diego, I was responsible for all software development, with the primary focus on the development of the world’s first single-chip dual-mode IS-136 handset. Prior to Mitsubishi, I was the Senior Director of Engineering at Uniden’s San Diego R&D Center, where I led the software development of two generations of GSM and TDMA/IS-136 Digital Cellular handsets. As a highly experienced software development professional, I put in place the methodologies, best practices, and infrastructure that build software products and systems. I am adept at clearly communicating with both non-technical and technical persons at all levels, to facilitate the achievement of business goals.
