I am the creator of Bookship, a social reading app, and the founder of The Hawaii Project, a book discovery engine that brings you books and book news you'd never find on your own. I'm a startup executive with a focus on product innovation and team building. My products have been used by millions of people, featured by Apple and Google, ranked #1 in the Apple app store in their respective categories, and written about by the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Robert Scoble, Techcrunch, USA Today and other national media outlets. I'm deeply experienced with mobile and web products, and have a particular passion for information-rich big data products. As a result of my years at Endeca, goby and Telenav, I've acquired a rich background in search, recommendation engines, big data, SEO, local search, travel, maps & GPS, and ad tech. I've built successful consumer plays as well as large scale enterprise software companies. As ceo of goby, I led fund-raising and PR activities as well as the eventual acquisition by Telenav. I build organizations that learn, grow, adapt and deliver. I thrive on intellectually challenging domains.
