Martha Yitayew

Martha Yitayew is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration minoring in IT as well as two Diplomas in Accounting and Secretarial Science respectively. She is fluent in Amharic, French, English languages. She is currently an Administrative Assistant in the Directorate of Health and Humanitarian Affairs in the African Union Commission. Prior to that, she was working as the Secretary to the Director for Infrastructure and Energy in the African Union Commission. She has been working as Private Secretary for two different Commissioners for Infrastructure and Energy in the African Union Commission from 2003 to 2012. She has 21 years of experience in Administrative, secretarial and accounting fields in various international organizations among which 20 years are in the African Union Commission in Finance and Administration Department, Drug Control Project, Political Affairs Directorate, Communication and Information Department, Peace and Security Directorate. She has a natural talent for problem solving and has the knowledge of the smooth running of operations of the African Union Commission which makes her meet required specifications and greatly improve on them. She has excellent interpersonal skills and social life.
