I have a wealth of childcare experience having worked with children and families for over 15 years in a variety of roles within many settings, including private day nurseries, crèche, after school clubs, youth clubs and primary schools, charities and local authorities. I have worked for local authorities delivering tailored educational programmes for hard to reach young people, outreach and family support also developing and supporting existing and new childcare and youth services. I have predominately worked within the voluntary sector managing and developing grass roots community organisations including crèche, after school, play and youth services. Leading on age appropriate activity programmes, fundraising, responsible for direct line management of staff teams and in-house training, ensuring childcare services adhere to current legislation, whilst providing quality services which meet the needs of its community.
