About

Since the early childhood I've been quite curious and liked to explore and learn new things, and of course I enjoyed having fun. After a first few contacts with a computer as a little boy my fate got bound to it, and aside of playing computer games I eventually found out many other cool things to use it for. Next two decades I spent mostly studying and once I got older aside of that also doing part-time work to get some more experience, eventually starting my first full-time position as Quality Analyst in NCR. Over time I've also took on responsibilities of Business Analyst and eventually ended up as a Product Owner. After undergoing, in my opinion and based on the talk with other colleagues, quite successful "agile transformation" in our team together with our Scrum Master, eventually it came time to move on and leave my first time job, after about 6 years, I moved on to find new challenges and new experience, and I worked as Business Analyst and assisted our Agile Coach at the time to help our team organize better. However I haven't really "felt it" in Massive anyway and I decided to move on. Following less-than-30-days of terrible experience which given my expectation was huge disappointment, I decided to take on quite different opportunity that just came out of blue to work with Manifesto in the role of Product Manager. In a way it was a bit of return to what I did in NCR, except from the other side, as in Manifesto I was mainly taking care of point of sale and payment solution and other related things. Generally speaking, despite whole world going full potato, I had quite a blast there, and especially in 2020 I loved all the opportunity to be outside and work with people, something most just dreamed about at the time. On the other hand the nature of the work in hospitality industry generally clashes with life balance, even if IT-related, because most things happen between Thursday and Sunday, and usually in the evenings, and therefore most issues pop up around the same time. This is something I wouldn't think of 10 years ago but now is very important. Coincidentally with the last position I've also gained experience working on contractor basis and quite like the change from the previous "9 to 5, sometimes to 25" routine, and while there are downsides too, I prefer more freedom and less constraints and barriers connected usually to the full time positions. These days I believe I am quite well-rounded IT professional and my lifetime passion is solving problems and helping people overcome difficulties and improve themselves.
